DR. IDRIS AHMAD

DIRECTOR

New Delhi, Nov 2 (UNI) Dr. Idris Ahmed has taken over the responsibilities as the Permanent Director of Ghalib Institute. This information was given in a press release issued here. It is a great shock and a challenge to the Institute, but I am glad that the activities of the Institute over the last five months have been enviable. We have a brilliant strategy for the future. I hope that when we bring them down to earth, it will greatly strengthen the Urdu language and literature. Prof. Siddique-ur-Rehman Kidwai, Secretary, Ghalib Institute, said that Dr. Raza Haider’s death was a blow to the Institute but I am happy that Dr. Idris Ahmad has handled the responsibilities of the Institute very well in a very short period of time. It is hoped that he will continue to lead the institute to new heights. It is clear that after the demise of former director Syed Raza Haider, Dr. Idrees Ahmed was elected as the acting director on May 26, 2021, but considering his administrative and literary ability, he has been selected as the permanent director. The Chairman, Secretary and all the members of Ghalib Institute while praising the work of Dr. Idrees Ahmed said that Dr. Idrees Ahmed has handled the responsibilities of the Institute well in the last five months and considering his performance we have decided that Only in the future can we take this institute on the path of development.
